श्रीब्रह्मोवाच । विश्वामित्र प्रतुष्टोऽस्मि तपसानेन सत्तम । वरं वरय भद्रं ते प्रदास्याम्यपि दुर्लभम्

Transliteration

śrībrahmovāca | viśvāmitra pratuṣṭo'smi tapasānena sattama | varaṃ varaya bhadraṃ te pradāsyāmyapi durlabham

Translation

Disse Śrī Brahmā: “Viśvāmitra, ó melhor entre os virtuosos, estou satisfeito com esta tua austeridade. Escolhe uma dádiva—que o bem esteja contigo; conceder-te-ei até o que é difícil de obter.”
