अथ रात्र्यां व्यतीतायामुदिते सूर्यमण्डले । वक्त्रे तां गुटिकां कृत्वा स पुष्पस्तादृशोऽभवत्
atha rātryāṃ vyatītāyāmudite sūryamaṇḍale | vaktre tāṃ guṭikāṃ kṛtvā sa puṣpastādṛśo'bhavat
Então, passada a noite e erguido o orbe do sol, ele a fez numa pequena pílula e, colocando-a na boca, Puṣpa tornou-se assim (naquele estado alterado).
