Transliteration

yācitaṃ dvijavare na dīyate saṃcitaṃ kratuvare na yojyate | tatkadaryaparirakṣitaṃ dhanaṃ caurapārthivagṛheṣu bhujyate

Translation

O que um excelente brāhmaṇa pede não se dá; o que se ajunta não se aplica ao nobre sacrifício. Essa riqueza, guardada pela avareza, acaba sendo desfrutada nas casas de ladrões e de reis.
