Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 24
रोगा ऊचुः । किमर्थं देवदेवेश त्वया सृष्टा वयं विभो । आदेशो दीयतां शीघ्रं प्रसादः क्रियतामिति
rogā ūcuḥ | kimarthaṃ devadeveśa tvayā sṛṣṭā vayaṃ vibho | ādeśo dīyatāṃ śīghraṃ prasādaḥ kriyatāmiti
As doenças disseram: “Por que motivo, ó Senhor dos senhores, ó Poderoso, foste Tu quem nos criou? Concede-nos depressa a ordem; mostra-nos o Teu favor.”
