ब्रह्मोवाच । ब्रह्मशापं न शक्तोऽह मन्यथाकर्तुमेवच । उपायं च करिष्यामि सांप्रतं त्रिदशाधिप
brahmovāca | brahmaśāpaṃ na śakto'ha manyathākartumevaca | upāyaṃ ca kariṣyāmi sāṃprataṃ tridaśādhipa
Brahmā disse: “Não sou capaz de fazer com que a maldição de um brâmane se cumpra de outro modo. Contudo, ó senhor dos trinta deuses, agora conceberei um meio.”
