याज्ञवल्क्य उवाच । एवं भवतु देवेश यत्त्वयोक्तं वचोऽखिलम् । परं मम वचोऽन्यच्च तच्छृणुष्व ब्रवीमि ते
yājñavalkya uvāca | evaṃ bhavatu deveśa yattvayoktaṃ vaco'khilam | paraṃ mama vaco'nyacca tacchṛṇuṣva bravīmi te
Yājñavalkya disse: “Assim seja, ó Senhor dos deuses; que se cumpra por inteiro tudo o que disseste. Mas agora ouve ainda outra palavra minha; eu a direi a ti.”
