Transliteration

tataste munayo dṛṣṭvā yamadūtopamaṃ ca tam | yajñopavītasaṃyuktaṃ procuste kṛpayānvitāḥ

Translation

Então os sábios, vendo-o como um mensageiro de Yama, embora ainda trajasse o yajñopavīta (fio sagrado), falaram-lhe movidos pela compaixão.
