Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (Sureśvarī)
Scene: Revatī points to her mouth, describing how her fangs were removed, and asks the Goddess how restoration or renewed generation could occur by divine power.
The devotee brings even bodily loss before the Goddess, trusting that divine śakti can restore what karma has diminished.
The verse functions within the kṣetra narrative: the holy place is where the devotee can directly appeal to Ambikā’s power for reversal of misfortune.
No new rite; it is a direct prayer-question to the deity after worship.
