रेवत्युवाच । अहं शप्ता पुरा देवि ब्राह्मण्या कारणांतरे । यत्त्वं मानुषमासाद्य स्वयं भूत्वा च मानुषी
revatyuvāca | ahaṃ śaptā purā devi brāhmaṇyā kāraṇāṃtare | yattvaṃ mānuṣamāsādya svayaṃ bhūtvā ca mānuṣī
Revatī disse: “Ó Deusa, outrora fui amaldiçoada por uma mulher brāhmaṇa por outra circunstância: que tu, ao alcançar a condição humana, tu mesma te tornarias humana.”
