हाहा पुत्र परित्यक्त्वा मां च क्वासि विनिर्गतः । अनावृत्तिकरं स्थानं किं स्नेहो नास्ति ते मयि
hāhā putra parityaktvā māṃ ca kvāsi vinirgataḥ | anāvṛttikaraṃ sthānaṃ kiṃ sneho nāsti te mayi
“Ai, meu filho! Deixando-me para trás, para onde foste? Partiste para o lugar de onde não há retorno? Não tens afeição por mim?”
