Transliteration

tataste śarmasaṃyuktāḥ sarva eva dvijottamāḥ | cakrustapaḥkriyāṃ sarve duṣkarāṃ sarvajantubhiḥ

Translation

Então, aqueles brâmanes excelentíssimos, cheios de firme propósito e de fé auspiciosa, empreenderam todos a prática das austeridades — uma observância difícil de ser realizada por qualquer ser.
