गच्छ वा तिष्ठवा भद्रे कस्मात्त्वं हि समागता । अमंगलो हि भर्ता ते अशिवोसौ सुमध्यमे
gaccha vā tiṣṭhavā bhadre kasmāttvaṃ hi samāgatā | amaṃgalo hi bhartā te aśivosau sumadhyame
«Vai ou fica, ó gentil—por que vieste aqui? Pois teu esposo é de mau agouro; ele é ‘aśiva’ (não auspicioso), ó de cintura formosa».
