नारद उवाच । पुरा देवैः कृतो यत्नो वधार्थं नात्र संशयः । तवैव चासुरश्रेष्ठ मयोक्तं नान्यथा भवेत्
nārada uvāca | purā devaiḥ kṛto yatno vadhārthaṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ | tavaiva cāsuraśreṣṭha mayoktaṃ nānyathā bhavet
Nārada disse: “Outrora os deuses envidaram esforço para te matar—não há dúvida. E, ó o melhor entre os asuras, o que te declarei é verdadeiramente a teu respeito; não será de outro modo.”
