Transliteration

yadāḥkāmaṃ puraskṛtya sarve devāḥ savāsavāḥ | padabhraṣṭāśca duḥkhena vyāptā dainyaṃ samāśritāḥ

Translation

Quando todos os deuses—junto com Indra—puseram o Desejo (Kāma) à frente, caíram de sua posição devida; tomados pela dor, ficaram aflitos e afundaram na miséria.
