नमस्कृत्य वचोऽवोचमिति भाव्यर्थनोदितः । तथा मतिस्तथा मित्रं व्यवसायस्तथा नृणाम्

Transliteration

namaskṛtya vaco'vocamiti bhāvyarthanoditaḥ | tathā matistathā mitraṃ vyavasāyastathā nṛṇām

Translation

Tendo-me curvado em reverência, falei, impelido pelo intento que trazia no coração. Pois nos homens, assim é a mente, assim é a companhia que escolhem, e assim é o empreendimento que assumem.
