वरं मत्तो वृणीध्वं च दुर्लभं यं हृदीच्छत । यूयं स्वयं हि वरदा मत्संगो मास्तु निष्फलः
varaṃ matto vṛṇīdhvaṃ ca durlabhaṃ yaṃ hṛdīcchata | yūyaṃ svayaṃ hi varadā matsaṃgo māstu niṣphalaḥ
Escolhei de mim uma dádiva—qualquer dom raro que desejeis no coração. Pois vós mesmos sois doadores de bênçãos; que minha convivência convosco não seja sem fruto.
