मातः स्वसरथो पुत्रि आर्येति च वदेद्बुधः । उचछिष्टो नालभेत्किंचिन्न च सूर्यं विलोकयेत्
mātaḥ svasaratho putri āryeti ca vadedbudhaḥ | ucachiṣṭo nālabhetkiṃcinna ca sūryaṃ vilokayet
O sábio deve tratar (as mulheres) com reverência, dizendo: “Mãe”, “Irmã”, “Filha” ou “Senhora nobre”. Enquanto estiver no estado de ter comido (com restos e impureza), não deve tocar em coisa alguma, nem fitar o sol.
