Quem me contemplar aqui estabelecido e quem me prestar culto—e até quem falar disso e divulgar o relato—alcançará mérito (puṇya).
Śiva (Śaṅkara/Tryambaka), inferred from immediate context of boons and later 'Śaṅkara said'
Tirtha: Siddhāmbikā-kṣetra (Vighnakṣetra)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Devotees worship Siddhāmbikā at her shrine; nearby stands the resident divine figure referenced as ‘me established here’; some devotees listen as a narrator recites the māhātmya, indicating merit through proclamation.
Devotion expressed through worship, darśana, and even sharing sacred lore becomes a direct cause of rare spiritual accomplishment and puṇya.
The verse points to the locale where Śiva is 'established here' in connection with Siddhāmbikā and the Siddhiliṅga tradition within Kaumārikākhaṇḍa (Adhyāya 36).
Propitiation (samārādhana) of Siddhāmbikā, darśana of Śiva at the spot, and pūjā; additionally, narrating/propagating the māhātmya is itself meritorious.
