Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta) to the sages (deduced from Māheśvarakhaṇḍa narration style)
Type: temple
Scene: A triumphant king receives blessings before a liṅga; above, a vision of Rudraloka; Paraśurāma stands with axe, vibhūti and matted hair, receiving Śiva’s grace.
Śiva-liṅga worship grants both worldly stability (rājya-bala) and the highest posthumous goal of reaching Rudra’s realm.
The passage continues the praise of the Kumāreśa/Rāmeśvara liṅga associated with the Kaumārikākhaṇḍa’s sacred locale.
Ārādhana/abhiyarcana of the liṅga—devotional worship of Śiva’s emblem.
