दानवेन्द्रं तदा चक्रे गंधर्वास्त्रं महाद्भुतम् । ततोऽस्य तेजसा व्याप्तमभूद्गनगोचरम्
dānavendraṃ tadā cakre gaṃdharvāstraṃ mahādbhutam | tato'sya tejasā vyāptamabhūdganagocaram
Então ele empregou contra o senhor dos Dānava a maravilhosa arma dos Gandharva. E, pelo fulgor do seu poder, o céu e o campo de batalha ficaram tomados, como a mover-se no âmbito das hostes de gaṇa.
