Dadhīci (with pointed irony toward Dakṣa)
Tirtha: Kāśī
Type: kshetra
Scene: A narrator pauses, indicating that what happened is beyond telling; the name of Dakṣa is invoked as the only competent witness—creating a hush among listeners in a Kāśī setting.
It cautions against ritual arrogance and hints that adharma in yajña becomes self-condemning—so much so that only the doer can ‘explain’ it.
None is named in this verse; it belongs to the Kāśīkhaṇḍa’s larger glorification of Kāśī and Śiva-dharma.
No prescription; the verse comments on events surrounding a yajña.
