योसि सोसि नमस्तुभ्यमुपदेशेन युंक्ष्व माम् । गुरूक्तं गुरुपत्न्युक्तं गुर्वपत्योक्तमेव च

Transliteration

yosi sosi namastubhyamupadeśena yuṃkṣva mām | gurūktaṃ gurupatnyuktaṃ gurvapatyoktameva ca

Translation

Sejas quem fores—assim seja; eu me prostro diante de ti. Une-me à instrução sagrada (ensina-me). Pois o que é dito pelo guru, pela esposa do guru e pelo filho do guru—tudo isso—deve ser aceito como palavra de autoridade.
