चिंतयन्निति देवेशो गणानारहूय भूरिशः । प्रेषयामास भो यात क्षिप्रं वाराणसीं पुरीम्
ciṃtayanniti deveśo gaṇānārahūya bhūriśaḥ | preṣayāmāsa bho yāta kṣipraṃ vārāṇasīṃ purīm
Assim pensando, o Senhor dos deuses, o Poderoso, convocou seus Gaṇas e os despachou, dizendo: «Ide—depressa—à cidade de Vārāṇasī».
