Transliteration

yājñavalkyo munivaraḥ proktavānmunisaṃsadi | raveradhītya nigamānkāśyāmaṃte paraṃ padam

Translation

Yājñavalkya, o melhor dos sábios, declarou na assembleia dos ṛṣis: «Tendo aprendido os Vedas de Ravi, ao fim, em Kāśī, alcança-se o estado supremo».
