न केवलं काशिवियोगजो ज्वरः प्रबाधते त्वां तु तथा यथात्र माम् । उपाय एषोत्र निदाघशांतये पुरी तु सा वा ममजन्मभूरथ
na kevalaṃ kāśiviyogajo jvaraḥ prabādhate tvāṃ tu tathā yathātra mām | upāya eṣotra nidāghaśāṃtaye purī tu sā vā mamajanmabhūratha
Não é apenas a febre nascida da separação de Kāśī que te aflige; a mim ela atormenta ainda mais. Eis o remédio para arrefecer este ardor: vamos àquela cidade sagrada, seja ela ou não o lugar do meu nascimento.
