विधवा विपुलेन स्याद्दीर्घांगुष्ठेन दुर्भगा । मृदवोंगुलयः शस्ता घनावृत्ताः समुन्नताः
vidhavā vipulena syāddīrghāṃguṣṭhena durbhagā | mṛdavoṃgulayaḥ śastā ghanāvṛttāḥ samunnatāḥ
Com o hálux demasiado largo e largo demais, diz-se que ela é infeliz; e com o hálux excessivamente largo, que se torna viúva. Louvam-se os dedos macios, sobretudo os compactos, bem arredondados e levemente elevados.
