agastiruvāca | śṛṇu patni mahābhāge lopāmudre sadharmiṇi | kathā viṣṇugaṇābhyāṃ ca kathitāṃ śivaśarmaṇe

Agastya disse: Ouve, ó esposa bem-aventurada, Lopāmudrā, minha companheira no dharma, a narrativa que dois assistentes de Viṣṇu contaram a Śivaśarman.
