बिभ्यत्पतिव्रतास्पर्शं कुरुते भानुमानपि । सोमो गन्धर्व एवापि स्वपावित्र्याय नान्यथा
bibhyatpativratāsparśaṃ kurute bhānumānapi | somo gandharva evāpi svapāvitryāya nānyathā
Até o Sol radiante, em reverente temor, busca o toque de uma pativratā; e a Lua e o Gandharva também o fazem apenas para a própria purificação, e por nenhum outro motivo.
