Transliteration
vāḍavaḥ khinnamanasaḥ krodhenāṃdhīkṛtā bhuvi | niśvāsānmuṃcamānāste hāheti pravadaṃti ca
Translation
Aqueles vāḍavas, de ânimo abatido e, na terra, cegados pela ira, soltavam repetidos suspiros profundos, clamando: «Ai! Ai!»
