दिनेदिने प्रहर्षोभूज्जनानां तत्र वासिनाः । पठंति स्म द्विजास्तत्र ऋग्युजुःसामलक्षणान्

dinedine praharṣobhūjjanānāṃ tatra vāsināḥ | paṭhaṃti sma dvijāstatra ṛgyujuḥsāmalakṣaṇān

Dia após dia, a alegria surgia entre os que ali habitavam. Ali os dvija recitavam os Vedas—Ṛg, Yajus e Sāman—com seus sinais corretos e as disciplinas do canto ritual.
