शोकात्केचिदुरो जघ्नुः शिरो जघ्नुश्च केचन । हा राजपुत्र हा तात क्वासि क्वासीति बभ्रमुः
śokātkeciduro jaghnuḥ śiro jaghnuśca kecana | hā rājaputra hā tāta kvāsi kvāsīti babhramuḥ
De tanta dor, alguns batiam no próprio peito e outros golpeavam a cabeça, clamando: «Ai, príncipe! Ai, filho querido! Onde estás—onde estás?», e vagavam aflitos.
