पराशर उवाच । अत्रावाच्यं हि यत्किंचित्कथं शक्तोस्मि शंसितुम् । यच्छ्रुत्वा धृतिमंतोपि विषादं प्राप्नुयुर्जनाः
parāśara uvāca | atrāvācyaṃ hi yatkiṃcitkathaṃ śaktosmi śaṃsitum | yacchrutvā dhṛtimaṃtopi viṣādaṃ prāpnuyurjanāḥ
Parāśara disse: Aqui há algo que não deveria ser dito—como poderia eu declará-lo? Ao ouvi-lo, até os de ânimo firme poderiam cair em tristeza.
