एष ते नृप जामाता चंद्रांगद महाबलः । अस्य वंशमथोत्पत्तिं श्रोतुमिच्छामि तत्त्वतः
eṣa te nṛpa jāmātā caṃdrāṃgada mahābalaḥ | asya vaṃśamathotpattiṃ śrotumicchāmi tattvataḥ
“Ó poderoso rei Candrāṅgada, este homem é agora teu genro. Desejo ouvir, em verdade, sua linhagem e a narrativa de sua origem.”
