बहुभ्यो न प्रदेयानि गौर्गृहं शयनं स्त्रियः । विभक्तदक्षिणा ह्येता दातारं नाप्नुवन्ति च
bahubhyo na pradeyāni gaurgṛhaṃ śayanaṃ striyaḥ | vibhaktadakṣiṇā hyetā dātāraṃ nāpnuvanti ca
Uma vaca, uma casa, uma cama e uma mulher não devem ser dados a muitos recipientes. Pois, quando tais dádivas são divididas como dakṣiṇā entre vários, não chegam verdadeiramente a beneficiar o doador.
