ततस्त्वेकार्णवीभूते सर्वतः सलिलावृते । जगत्कृत्वोदरे सर्वं सुष्वाप भगवान्हरः
tatastvekārṇavībhūte sarvataḥ salilāvṛte | jagatkṛtvodare sarvaṃ suṣvāpa bhagavānharaḥ
Então, quando tudo se tornou um único oceano e ficou coberto de água por todos os lados, o Bem-aventurado Hara (Śiva), tendo acolhido o universo inteiro em seu ventre, deitou-se para dormir.
