Transliteration

cakārānaśanaṃ vipraḥ śatabāhuśca bhūpatiḥ | śoṣayāmāsatustau svamīśvarārādhane ratau

Translation

O brāhmana iniciou o jejum, e o rei Śatabāhu também. Ambos, devotados à adoração de seu Senhor, Īśvara, começaram a ressecar o corpo por meio da austeridade.
