न चासौ पक्षिराट्तस्मिन्न स्त्रियो न च देवताः । तदेवैकं स्थितं लिङ्गमर्चयन्विस्मयान्वितः
na cāsau pakṣirāṭtasminna striyo na ca devatāḥ | tadevaikaṃ sthitaṃ liṅgamarcayanvismayānvitaḥ
Mas naquele lugar não havia nem a ave régia, nem as mulheres, nem quaisquer divindades; apenas aquele único Liṅga permanecia ereto, enquanto eu o adorava, tomado de assombro.
