मात्रा स्वस्रा दुहित्रा वा राजानं च तथा प्रभुम् । गुरुं चैवादितः कृत्वा शयानं न प्रबोधयेत्
mātrā svasrā duhitrā vā rājānaṃ ca tathā prabhum | guruṃ caivāditaḥ kṛtvā śayānaṃ na prabodhayet
Nem a mãe, nem a irmã, nem a filha—e do mesmo modo um rei ou um senhor—devem ser despertados. Tendo antes prestado a devida reverência ao guru, não se deve acordá-lo quando está deitado.
