दानव उवाच । यदि तुष्टोऽसि मे देव वरं दास्यसि मे प्रभो । सङ्ग्रामैस्तु न तुष्टोऽहं बलं नास्तीति किंचन
dānava uvāca | yadi tuṣṭo'si me deva varaṃ dāsyasi me prabho | saṅgrāmaistu na tuṣṭo'haṃ balaṃ nāstīti kiṃcana
Disse o demônio: «Se estás satisfeito comigo, ó Deus—se me concederás um dom, ó Senhor—sabe que não me contento com batalhas; não é que me falte força em nada.»
