न तत्र दृश्यते सूर्यो नाकाशं न च चन्द्रमाः । आग्नेयमस्त्रं व्यसृजद्दानवोऽपि शिवं प्रति
na tatra dṛśyate sūryo nākāśaṃ na ca candramāḥ | āgneyamastraṃ vyasṛjaddānavo'pi śivaṃ prati
Ali não se via o sol, nem o céu, nem sequer a lua. Então o Dānava também desferiu contra Śiva a Arma Ígnea (Āgneya-astra).
