तच्छ्रुत्वा ब्राह्मणी वाक्यं भीतभीतावदन्नृप । तद्वस्त्रं तु मया विप्र स्नात्वा ह्यन्तः कृतं महत्

Transliteration

tacchrutvā brāhmaṇī vākyaṃ bhītabhītāvadannṛpa | tadvastraṃ tu mayā vipra snātvā hyantaḥ kṛtaṃ mahat

Translation

Ao ouvir essas palavras, a brāhmaṇī, tremendo de medo, disse: «Ó Rei; ó venerável brāhmaṇa: essa veste foi tocada por mim; após banhar-me, coloquei-a dentro (nos meus aposentos), cometendo grave impropriedade».
