Transliteration

kathituṃ vṛddhabhāvatvādatīto bahukālikaḥ | saṃkṣepāttena te tāta kathayāmi nibodha me

Translation

Por causa da minha idade avançada, muito tempo já se passou, e não posso contá-lo longamente. Por isso, querido filho, eu te direi em resumo; escuta e compreende o que falo.
