ब्रह्मणे धर्ममुद्दिश्य तस्या लोका ह्यनामयाः । एवं च पक्षपक्षान्ते श्राद्धे तर्पेद्द्विजोत्तमान्
brahmaṇe dharmamuddiśya tasyā lokā hyanāmayāḥ | evaṃ ca pakṣapakṣānte śrāddhe tarpeddvijottamān
Dedicando o ato a Brahman e ao Dharma, os seus mundos tornam-se livres de aflição. Do mesmo modo, ao fim de cada quinzena, durante o śrāddha, deve-se oferecer tarpaṇa aos melhores dos dvija.
