गलितं तेन कपिला वर्णतो नामतोऽभवत् । तथा गन्धरसैर्युक्तं नानापुष्पैस्तु वासितम्

galitaṃ tena kapilā varṇato nāmato'bhavat | tathā gandharasairyuktaṃ nānāpuṣpaistu vāsitam

Assim, ao fluir, tornou-se “Kapilā”, tanto pela cor quanto pelo nome. Era também dotada de fragrância e essência, perfumada por muitas espécies de flores.
