ekaikaśo brahmahatyādikāni śaktāni hantuṃ pāpasaṅghāni rājan | naite sarve yugapadvai sametā hantuṃ śaktāḥ kiṃ na tadbrūhi rājan
Ó rei, cada conjunto de pecados—começando por brahmahatyā—tem poder para abater. Contudo, ainda que todos esses pecados se reunissem de uma só vez, não poderiam destruir (aquele que é protegido por este dharma). Dize-me, ó rei: como pode ser?
