धेनुं दद्याद्द्विजे योग्ये सर्वाभरणभूषिताम् । निर्ममो निरहङ्कारो दानं दद्याद्द्विजातये
dhenuṃ dadyāddvije yogye sarvābharaṇabhūṣitām | nirmamo nirahaṅkāro dānaṃ dadyāddvijātaye
Deve-se dar uma vaca, ornada com todos os adornos, a um brāhmaṇa digno. Sem apego e sem ego, ofereça-se dāna, a caridade sagrada, aos dvijāti, os duas-vezes-nascidos.
