द्विज उवाच । न विचारस्त्वया कार्यः कृता यज्ञा न संशयः । यदि वेदाः प्रमाणं तं भुवि देवा द्विजास्तथा
dvija uvāca | na vicārastvayā kāryaḥ kṛtā yajñā na saṃśayaḥ | yadi vedāḥ pramāṇaṃ taṃ bhuvi devā dvijāstathā
O brāhmaṇa disse: «Não te cabe deliberar sobre isso. Os yajñas foram de fato realizados, sem dúvida. Se os Vedas são a autoridade, então na terra tanto os devas quanto os brāhmaṇas são testemunhas dessa verdade».
