गङ्गोवाच । त्वत्पादकमलाद्भ्रष्टा गङ्गा सहचरा विभो । यदृच्छया त्रिलोकेश वन्द्यमाना दिवौकसैः
gaṅgovāca | tvatpādakamalādbhraṣṭā gaṅgā sahacarā vibho | yadṛcchayā trilokeśa vandyamānā divaukasaiḥ
Disse Gaṅgā: «Caída do lótus de teus pés, eu, Gaṅgā, tua servidora, ó Senhor, vim aqui por circunstância, ó regente dos três mundos, venerada pelos habitantes do céu.»
