तदाप्रभृति तत्तीर्थं गङ्गावाहकमुत्तमम् । ब्रह्माद्यैरृषिभिस्तात पारम्पर्यक्रमागतैः
tadāprabhṛti tattīrthaṃ gaṅgāvāhakamuttamam | brahmādyairṛṣibhistāta pāramparyakramāgataiḥ
Desde então, aquele vau supremamente excelente passou a ser conhecido como ‘Gaṅgāvāhaka’. Ali, ó querido, os sábios começando por Brahmā—vindos na sucessão da tradição—o honraram e o frequentaram.
