evamuktaḥ sa mārkaṇḍaḥ kathayāmāsa yogavit | dhyātvā sanātanaṃ sarvaṃ devadevaṃ maheśvaram

Translation

Assim interpelado, Mārkaṇḍa—conhecedor do Yoga—começou a falar, após meditar em Maheśvara, o Deus dos deuses, o Senhor eterno que é o Todo.
